Basic Sourdough bread
Making bread using your own wild yeast is a whole new world of unique and fascinating flavors. You collect your wild yeast in a quiet corner of you kitchen to create sourdough starter cultures. The sourdough starter lives in a jar in your refrigerator and become your pet! You need to feed it and take care of it as the flavor develop.
2 cups sourdough starter
1 teaspoons salt
2 ½ cups bread flour
3 TBSP brown sugar
warm water as needed
1. Preheat oven to 220c. Scoop two cups of starters as required
2. Add to the bread mixer with flour, salt, and sugar. Add warm water to adjust as required by the dough.
3. After five minutes of kneading, add seeds (optional).
4. Once dough is kneaded, prove for no more than six hour. Sprey dough with water and slash. Bake for 30 minutes or until ready.
